The end of March

March is coming to an end and all I can say is that it's been a productive month! :)

I've been busy since the holidays started. I went to Kuching for 4 days and 3 nights.
Ate a lot + visited my grandma's grave + visited my granddad + shopped for misc stuff.

Then I came back to Brunei and slept in my own bed for one night. The next day, I was off to St Andrew's church for YDM camp. It's the first time going to YDM camp. I've been to Acts camp before but never YDM. I was one of the oldest there together with Nyssa and a few others. I guess it was pretty strange hanging out with little kids but they were quite cute and nice. The showers were very interesting. The first night there, I almost froze to death. The leaders switched on three aircons + the fans in the Parish hall. I was one of the first to fall asleep first. I woke up at 3 am to find myself shivering and yes, I was brilliant enough to bring a tiny blanket because I thought it wouldn't be cold. I wore two pairs of socks and yet I was still cold.

(Do you see me! With Mr. Moo!)

The next day, my dear parents brought blankets for me and my brother. Thank goodness, It was warmer the next two nights. I was always the first to fall asleep. The sermons given by Joshua Liong from Malaysia was very interesting and enlightening. I can say that I have restored faith in Christ. The team building activities was fun especially the helium stick! It frustrated us greatly because the stick kept going upwards instead of downwards. We also did the 'Trust fall'. It was scary to jump off the chair which is on the stage and into the arms of your team members. I was quite distrustful and hence, made stronger people stand there to catch me. (Yes, I'm aware that I'm fat and muscular. I have a big bone structure).

(I was in Michelle Tan's group, 'Gabbro')

All in all, I had fun at camp and I experienced really interesting things. :)

Thank You for letting me know that there are no coincidences.
